i am dosing tons after tons of fenugreek tea, an act of concern by mummy to cure my horrible terrible incorrigible cough that just won't go away!!!
she boiled enough to fill a whole reservoir with it, enough to cause a catastrophe, enough to make me drown in it.
ok, that's way too exaggerating. haha (:
but anyway, THANK YOU MUM!

looking forward to fri.

ok. it's official, i look terrible in photos. really (:
i look like some scarred dull skin freak.
there's a reason why i hate taking pics... sometimes.
i told ya so. i'm just an ordinary girl.
i look so unglam!!! in pics. haha (:
are you thinking what i'm thinking?!?
TIME TO BUILD UP MORE SELF-CONFIDENCE!!!
and in arthur's words...
"NO ONE IS PERFECT. STAY OPTIMISTIC." haha (:

just came home. went to PS with my family today.
did some grocery shopping at Carrefour.
it was fun "piloting" the trolley down aisles after aisles of food.
I was casually observing what people actually put in their trolley.

it was rather interesting.
I don't know if there was a sale or something on biscuits and cereals.
cos' this young couple with two kids in tow had a trolley filled to the brim with tins of biscuits and boxes of coco cereals.
then this girl of about 14-year-old was sitting in a trolley pushed by her parents.
I bet she have the mind of a three-year-old.
oh, for god sake! she looks like some oversized toddler in a baby's pram.
but this made me wish that I was a small lil' kid all over again.
I missed the times when I would sit in that lil' plastic chair at the front of the trolley,
and my mum would race me down the endless aisles till i could feel cool air rushing across my face.
Being restless, I would try to reach out for something on the shelf in that restricted seat.
but I rarely succeeded, cos' mum would always stop my mischief in time.
now that I've outgrew all these, my mum HATES to bring me to the Supermarket,
cos' I have the tendency to grab lotsa things and dump them into the pushcart.
they are things that I don't actually need.

maybe I'm just attracted to the array of colourful items on display.
sometimes I just wish that I didn't have to grow up so soon...

the blind live for the day when they can once more see again.
the deaf live for the day when they can once more hear again.
the mute live for the day when they can once more speak again.
those hurt in love live for the day when they can once more love again.
the defeated live for the day when they can once more stand on their feet again.
those hardened by reality live for the day when they can once more feel the warmth of humanity again.
the troubled live for the day when they can once more feel carefree again.
those hit with diseases live for the day when they can once more lead a normal life again.
the disheartened live for the day when they can once more believe in miracles again.
those lost live for the day when they can once more see hope again.

different people, different lives, different reasons to live for.
when you strip LIFE down to its bare essentials, ask yourself do you have anything to live for?
the pessismists might say no.
the optismists might say yes.
but for you... is it a resounding YES or a whispered NO?

wth! it's like i don't know WHO and WHAT i'm doing all this for. feel like a bloody fool. if i hadn't walked off, i would have collapsed right there. you guys must be thinking i'm some sensitive, emotional piece of shit. but yesterday, one too many problems came our way. i felt like a total loser. still, i wanna send out a BIG THANK YOU TO YYIDAH, ARTHUR, JAM & SHA FOR JUST BEING THERE! don't know what i'd do without you guys... YYIDAH, YOU MADE SUCHA HUGE EFFORT BAKING AND DECORATING THE CAKE FOR ALL OF US. I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!
finally, i only cooled dwn when Edmund (our personal mentor) arrived. he talked to us abt his backpacking adventures and all. haha :) it was really funny esp. the part when he was in Rome and he went to this Bath House where everyone was naked. there was the All Boys, All Girls and Mixed section. haha :) Being guys (no hard feelings k) , obviously they went into the Mixed section. plus there were tales of break-ins and robberies and stories of sleeping at train stations. i was too immersed in the conversation to think abt any thing else.
then came the part when Edmund (he's a pri sch sch team player k) played badminton with us. it was totally hilarious. this physical exertion was a welcomed change. i felt so much better.
whatever it is, i had my fair share of ups and downs today. feeling totally beat now. i just wanna sleep it off. no point brooding over whatever that has happened. peace out, folks!

today is totally mad :)
i saw DAVID BECKHAM in person!!!
he dropped by our campus today.
haha. this is like a once-in-a-lifetime thing!
the aftermath is still lingering...
he just looks sizzling HOT!
he was wearing a white sports attire ( like some Prince Charming outta fairytale books).
and with a cool hairstyle + good looks, he can sweep any girl off her feet.
that doesn't include the fact that he's an internationally acclaimed footballer with enough $$$ to last several lifetimes =) Oh My God!!!
the impact was a little too overwhelming. haha :)
i might sound a little exaggerating...
BUT it's not as if you get to see David Beckham in real life everyday!
and for some, they might never ever have the chance to...
